Maternity Reflexology

I have had many experiences with inducing
labour and turning breech babies and here are a few...
Hi Louise,
Writing with florence on my knee! Basically after finishing
treatment on thursday, mild contractions started 1 hr
later!
The midwife (the prev day) had thought florence would
take another week before surfacing as cervix wasn't
ready, however my contractions increased in strength
on Friday and I went into hospital 9am on Saturday.
Florence was born at 11.11am Saturday morning!
I managed the whole thing without pain relief, including gas/air,
due to great prepping by you! Didn't go up to ward afterwards
and instead was at home at 3pm.
I totally recommend you
to all women about to go through labour - you made the
experience much more bearable & magical! Can't thank
you enough.
Love Marissa xx
I had seen Mrs B throughout
her pregnancy and she seemed all ready to go once the
day arrived. For a few days after her due date we worked
together to try and induce her labour. Unfortunately,
to no avail. The only thing I felt was not perfect was
the fact that she was had a pile of ironing to do and
then she'd be completely ready!
After 4 days of Reflexology I joked with her that she
would have to get the ironing done!
I didn't hear from her for 2 weeks but when I did, she
said contractions started the evening she finished her
ironing!
After one session of Reflexology and not much change
in her contractions my client came back for another
shorter and more focused Reflexology treatment to induce
her labour. She rang me the following day to say that
within 15 minutes of leaving my premises her contractions
were much stronger and 4 hours later she was holding
her newborn in her arms!
At 37 weeks Mrs T was rather fed up of the pregnancy and rather uncomfortable too. NOw that she was technically term we did some preparation-for-labour techniques.
Her son was obviously ready to get started in this world because she went into Labour the next morning.
