Maternity Reflexology - what does it mean?

Maternity Reflexology is Reflexology catered specifically to the needs of individuals regarding fertility and pregnancy.

Reflexology for babies and children is also popular to ease common illnesses and keep them healthy and happy. We use foot techniques for sinus problems like colds, coughs, colic and constipation also respond well to Reflexology.

Fertility: I have made it within my interest to research menstrual cycles and read about fertility studies and information journals.
I feel this has given me better understanding of how best to use Reflexology to help men and women who are finding it difficult to conceive or have unexplained infertility, or "sub fertility"
I have worked with many couples to help them fall pregnant with lots of success.
It's not a short term treatment and expect to have a course of 6 treatments before you really notice a difference in your well-being. Although many women say that they thought they felt healthy enough to fall pregnant, it wasn't until they'd had the support of Reflexology that they realised how much better they felt and how much more ready for the pregnancy they were.
At the moment all 15 out of 15 recent clients (period of 4 months) hoping for natural induction have gone into labour safely and naturally within 24 hours of having Reflexology induction techniques used.

Pregnancy: I work with women throughout their pregnancies from week 1 until they have the baby. There is some confusion as to when one can start reflexology when pregnant. As Susanne Enzer said at the beginning of her workshop "If Reflexologist's could cause miscarriages there would be no unwanted teenage pregnancies"

Reflexology can not do any harm to you or your baby but it is worth having treatment with a trained Maternity Reflexologist - like me -who has a better understanding of the pregnancy anatomy and Reflexology techniques.

For the best results of Reflexology in your pregnancy here is a brief outline of what I have found to be most effective:

Initially, having 4 treatments should give your body enough Reflexology for me to pick up where I last left-off and for you to really see the benefits shining through in the way that you feel and possibily the beginning of improvments in any conditions or niggles you are suffering with.

From the beginning of your pregnancy it's worth having a Reflexology treatment each month.

In your second trimester you could have these fortnightly, but monthly is still adequate.

From week 37 it's appropriate to have treatments each week until you have you baby.
