Baby Massage and Movement
- A simple baby massage routine

Always stop the massage if your baby becomes upset,
remember you are doing this with them, not
to them.
Ensure your hands are warm, jewelry is removed and you
are comfortable.
Your baby can be dressed or naked for this massage.
From Birth.
Place your baby on the floor or in your lap on his/her
side.
Using the weight of your relaxed hand.
Stroke from shoulder to feet 3-4 times.
Stroke the head to the neck
Stroke the length of the arm from shoulder to hand.
Stroke the length of the leg from hip to foot.
Spend some time using circles/long stroking movement
over the foot.
Repeat on their other side.
